What legal acts regulate the activities of our examination centre?
According to the Decree of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration of 31 May 2023, the telc B1 certificate is sufficient to grant a residence permit for a long-term resident in the European Union.
Telc language certificates, are officially recognised by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration as a certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language, by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as an exemption document from the doctoral examination in a modern foreign language (Regulation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 26 September 2016) and in the qualification procedure for civil servants (Regulation of the Prime Minister of 16 December 2009) and honoured by employers as well as universities at home and abroad.
As of 01.08.2017, The European Language Certificates - telc examinations were included in the ministerial list of professional qualifications for teachers as accredited. Thus, examinations from levels B2 to C2 are recognised in the process of qualifying teachers for their profession, including teaching a foreign language.

The Maritime University of Szczecin organises telc certificate examinations as an entity authorised to conduct these examinations on the basis of a licence granted by the CJO of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów from April 2024.
